According to her daughter, Lisa has been creating quests and puzzle hunts to delight friends and family her whole life. In 2016 she envisioned a way to bring her style of fun to a greater audience and Forest Quest, the first of the Event Quest family, debuted into the world at Sherwood Forest Faire. With the support of friends, mentors, and passionate players the brand has expanded to eight festivals. When not crafting puzzles to challenge and amuse audiences across the country, she really loves spending time with friends and family, being a clown, building lego, and training dogs.
Byron Smith
General Manager
Byron is a professional multi instrumentalist and comedian with over a decade of experience on the road in the renfair biz. He values kindness, communication, and seeks to both see and speak the truth in all situations. His long term personal goal is to grow wiser and kinder everyday until he dies. His favorite pastimes are music, e-sports (apex legends) and hearty conversation.
Catarina Simpson
Social Media Manager
Catarina Simpson brings her colorful stripes of playfulness and kindness to the Quest. A lifelong creative, Catarina enjoys featuring our lovely vendors at Faires, graphic design, crafting puzzles and finding pithy (and hilarious) quotes. Her work is influenced by Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy adventure movies, and well-worn fairy tales. If she can bring a little touch of magic to someone¿s day then Catarina considers her job well done. Catarina spends the rest of her time homeschooling her two equally playful children, spinning, crocheting, game designing, and immersing herself in her latest fairy tale.

When Reecy (reecypontiff.com) isn't composing riddles,
she plays the uke (but not the fiddle).
She's a songwriter, tour guide and journalist
with fingers in more pies than should even exist.
You can catch her at some Renaissance faires
as Bettina Bawdeville (but don't bring your young heirs).

Laura Wold
Talent Scout
Laura is talent scouting for quests, putting all of her unique skills from working fairs full time in the past to excellent use. She¿s recently domesticated and works with us remotely on projects. She enjoys supporting her plants in flourishing to their greatest potential. When she's not tracking down talent for us she does performance art, including haunt acting, stage acts, and immersive pieces. She's always excited to help connect people to resources including the experiences we create here at Event Quest.
